On April 14, 2004 an interim emergency services agreement was signed between the Irish Beach
Water District and Redwood Coast Fire Protection District whereby RCFPD will provide emergency fire and rescue services to
IBWD. This is an interim agreement until such time as Redwood Coast Fire Protection District annexes the territory situated within IBWD.
Fire equipment will remain within Irish Beach and volunteers will continue to respond from Irish Beach.
